Okay, I'm sitting here wondering "does anyone READ this blog? or am I just spewing words into space."
I  could put up a visit counter, but that may really depress me. So here is the deal -- just say hi in comment box, no comment is necessary. Or if you'd like to chat about something - post question or subject in the comment box.
Today is gorgeous and as I have no creative thoughts, I am going outdoors in my least attractive clothes to paint the adirondack chairs a great color called thunder skies, which is a blue. Last week I added 20 small goldfish to the garden pond, as the raccoons have lowered our big fish numbers to 8. I hoped the big fish would not eat all the little fish. Just checked the pond and all is good. Well, that is all the scintillating news I have.

  1. I just discovered your blog. I picked up a bunch of your books at the library today and as I was recording the titles on our blog I noticed you have a website, so I had to check it out. I'm so excited! My almost 5 year old and I are going to have sooooo much fun with your books and doing the activities on your site.

  3. I have been a fan ever since I saw you in Bryan,Ohio for a young authors workshop. My sons were young then (elementary ages, I would have to check the scrapbooks to be sure) and now they're 25, 23, and 20 and I'm a grandmother!I have used lots of your activities in my art classes(I've taught for 34 years). This fall I have had a student teacher from BGSU and we used you for the 4th grade super hero author/illustrator. The project inspired by your Alphabet Under Construction book was lots of fun for the students (and us) but took much longer than we thought. The class books are just about done and have been worth the time. Thestudents were so excited about making a paper pulp mouse of their ownthat they would like to send you copies but we need to know how if you wouldn't mind. Thanks for being so educator friendly with you website.
